The Sabelt Gold Endurance 6 Point Saloon Harness, part number 428G632SD7F, is a wrap-around 6-point competition harness approved to FIA 8853-2016. Webbing is 3 inch on the shoulder and 2 inch on the lap. Aircraft-type buckle. HANS friendly. Available in black, blue and red.

Gold is Sabelt’s premium webbing tier for saloon competition: lighter, more pliable and stronger than Silver for the same FIA approval. The Gold webbing sits against the driver more naturally during extended stints and weighs less than Steel or Silver equivalents in the same configuration.

Wrap-around installation threads the shoulder straps around a roll cage bar rather than clipping or bolting to dedicated mounting points. This gives more flexibility in positioning the seat within a cage: if the cage geometry does not line up precisely with clip or bolt positions, wrap-around allows the harness to centre on the bar at the correct height.

At £1,806 this is the first Gold-tier saloon harness in the Sabelt range. The Gold Super Formula (393G622FU6F, £2,275) is above it but for formula cars only. For saloon competition where the class rules do not require Gold-tier webbing and any FIA 8853-2016 harness is accepted, the Silver Endurance (210A622SD2F, £389) gives the same approval at much lower cost. The Gold Endurance is the choice when regulations specify Gold-grade webbing or when weight and pliability of the harness are being optimised for a championship car.

How long does an FIA harness last?

Does it work with a HANS device?
Yes: only 6-point FIA harnesses work with a HANS device, and this belt qualifies. If you run a device, check whether you want the HANS-specific shoulder cut and ask us which suits your setup.

What does it mount to?
A harness needs proper anchor points: a harness bar, cage, or the car’s designed mounting points, plus a seat with the right slots. Tell us the car and seat and we will confirm the mounting plan before you order.
